Mr. Thomas M. Leahy, III AAMS
Mr. Thomas M. Leahy, III AAMS, the founder of Campus Financial, owns and operates Campus Financial as well as a Richmond-based investment management company.
He is a graduate of the University of Florida and earned his masters degree from the University of Oklahoma.
Mr. Leahy is a member of the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (RFC)and is certified by the College of Financial Planning as an Accredited Asset Management Specialist. He is a registered investment adviser representative and registered securities principal. He holds insurance licenses for life and health and insurance consulting
Mr. Leahy has recently publihsed the second edtion of his book "Extreme College Planning." He has been published in the Richmond Times-Dispatch and has been featured in other local publications and on local radio and television as an expert on college and financial aid planning.
Twelve years ago he saw the need for a comprehensive college and financial aid planning service to assist Deckert Leahy clients. The service was so well received that Campus Financial became a necessity.
Together they have delivered seminars for The Governor's School for International Studies, Richmond Community High School for the Gifted and Talented, the Chesterfield County School System's "Very Informed Parents' Program" (VIP) as well as many other schools, church, civic organizations and corporations.
His financial certifications coupled with his membership in the Virginia Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators ensures that you will receive advice on a fiduciary level, putting your interests before theirs. In addition to the expertise Tom brings to the table, they retain the services of a Certified Financial Planner and Certified Public Accountant to ensure that their recommendations are reviewed for accuracy from an investment, tax and financial aid perspective.
